Current Shows Available

The Stennett Company has a range of variety shows to offer venues, both large and small. Most shows will last for around two hours, thirty minutes, including an interval. This can be tailor-made to your requirements. Usually all shows feature Stan Stennett and between five and six other performers (except for the specially designed smaller shows).

In all cases, we can supply A5 leaflets, A4 mini-posters and A3 posters (all full colour) as well as press releases and front of house pictures. Stan is always happy to do radio or newspaper interviews to promote the shows. The shows range in price from £750 to £1,500. We are willing to consider percentage splits in certain venues and discounts for multiple bookings. We can currently offer:

A nostaligic look back at the war years of 1939-45 and life in civvy street in the years after. Stan is joined by an ensemble of artists who recreate the sights, sounds and humour of those years in a show that is ideal sing-along stuff for matinee or evening audiences.

A slice of welsh rarebitA Slice of Welsh Rarebit

Stan began his career in the original BBC Welsh Rarebit and this show is a look back at that great production as well as showcasing some of the best in current talent from the Principality. The show also includes a Welsh Male Voice Choir.

Flying SoloStan Stennett – Flying Solo

In essence, a one man show, where Stan talks and performs his career of more than 60 years in theatre, radio, film and TV. He usually brings along a special guest too. Ideal for smaller venues or arts centres.

Golden Days of Music HallThe Golden Days of Music Hall

Traditional British entertainment – a show full of all the songs and routines from the golden days of music hall, chairman and all. Get the audience to dress in costume too for a great afternoon or evening with a full cast of OTMH performers.

Hooray for HollywoodHooray For Hollywood

Stan takes the audience back to the great days of the silver screen. Remembering the great songs from the musicals from the 1940's up to the present day with a fine cast of voices. From the classics such as ‘South Pacific’, ‘My Fair Lady’, ‘Oklahoma’, ‘Sound of Music’ to ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘Phantom of the Opera’.

A String of PearlsA String of Pearls

A special show that celebrates the BBC Radio Wales show of the same name with host Dewi Griffiths. A full cast of talented performers add to the sounds of the big band era in a spectacular afternoon or evening's show.

Three's a CrowdThree's A Crowd

Another show ideal for smaller venues, Stan is joined by two guest performers for a show full of warmth, songs and comedy. Once more, available for afternoon or evening shows.

Pantomime - Red Riding Hood

Panto with Johnny TudorThe pantomime for the Christmas season 2010-2011 will be Red Riding Hood. A fully professional cast will entertain young and old alike for more than two hours. Can be booked for part or whole weeks. Two performances each day – ideal for end of term treats for schools. We also have a full range of other panto subjects.
